My name is Grace, and I’m the co-owner/baker for Liberation Bakerie.

Before I went fully vegan, I had been debating it in my mind for a while. I guess the main factor that was holding me back was that I truly just love food. I’ve been a baker for most of my life, and I have a lot of fun with cooking. My morals were pulling me in this direction, but I wasn’t sure if it was going to be this huge, dramatic change in how I was able to enjoy what I ate. At a certain point I just went for it, and what I found was that, yes, it was a change. But in the best possible way. My love for food, cooking meals + baking sweets has only grown. I have made it my mission to challenge the idea that there is a standardized vegan diet without room for play. I want to make it fun and exciting for anyone else who finds themselves curious or feels passionate about it.
